In April 2019, I released my short film "Segregated By Design", which recovers the forgotten history of how our federal, state, and local governments unconstitutionally segregated every major metropolitan area in America through law and policy.
I am proud of how the film is now being used in schools all over the country. My hope is that young people will have a better understanding of how our country got here, since prejudice can often come from a lack of correctly understanding the past.

🎬 Join or Die - Animation Reel 🎥
The incredible feature-length documentary “Join or Die” @joinordiefilm weaves massive amounts of animation into the film, which gives it a unique and quirky feel. I'm extremely grateful that I was the one asked to work on it.
The design goal was to highlight how vibrant life in America can be when it is lived in community while the animation’s intent was to make college-level subject matter easy to understand. There is even more animation in the film that I had to leave out of this reel, so please watch the whole film!
The music, composed by the amazing @chadwickcannon , is from the film’s epic opening animation overture.

Meet Mark Lopez from @silkwormstudio . In true animator fashion, he decided his logo is a good substitution for his face.
He’s the Emmy-nominated animator behind @joinordiefilm and the person responsible for bringing motion, texture, and a little visual sanity to Sell Your House.
When the story needed to move in ways footage couldn’t, Mark stepped in and made it work.

'Christ As The Good Shepherd'
I had the idea a while ago to rotate different paintings in a prominent space in our house, depending on the liturgical calendar's season. This will be our Eastertide painting.
