SOUNDBOY X MEANSTREETS After a run of sessions at Eastern Bloc, including last years Grime Essentials night, Soundboy heads to @stageandradiomcr for the first time for a special collaboration with Meanstreets. Connecting Manchester’s underground with one of the most exciting grime n dubstep labels emerging from the South right now, the night brings together two camps with a shared foundation in grime, dubstep and UK bass music. With @trends_meanstreetsrecs_ and @boylanuk continuing to make serious waves through their productions and sets, Meanstreets arrive in Manchester alongside @dok1000 , @pjam100 and @silasoxf for a rare link-up with the Soundboy residents. Known for vinyl-led excursions through dubstep, grime and soundsystem music, Soundboy welcomes the Meanstreets camp for an evening balancing deep selections with heavyweight original productions and dubs. Across the night, expect sets from @silasthedon , @kiel_uk , @hanz.riddim and @pablogyal_ alongside the full Meanstreets crew, with Doni Rampage , Tiny Da G + more on mic duties throughout. 10th July 11pm-4am Stage N Radio Early bird tickets out now!

Long recognised as one of the defining figures within Manchester bass music, Chimpo’s work across grime, dubstep, jungle and UK soundsystem culture has made him a consistently respected presence both locally and far beyond it. As a producer, DJ and member of Levelz, he is a manneh Legend. Having previously joined us for a dub 2 jungle Soundboy x Pubdub session, it felt only right to bring him back as part of this celebration marking three years of the night. As we return to @brukunderbank this Saturday, we introduce our guest dj who's heading up our 2nd instalment of "Bruk Sessions" @silasthedon The founder and curator of @soundboy.mcr a vinyl-focused event series now approaching its third year, dedicated to championing niche and community-driven strains of bass music within Manchester’s underground scene. Through carefully curated lineups and a strong emphasis on sound system culture, the nights have become a platform for both established and emerging DJs pushing forward uncompromising sounds in manny. Alongside this, he recently launched The Plastic Loft — a newer party series exploring the wider spectrum of global dance music influences. The project invites bass music DJs to step outside their usual lanes, digging into funk, disco, soul, R&B, Latin, Afro-jazz and other rhythm-driven sounds that continue to influence contemporary club culture. With a keen ear for all things Jungle and a collection to boot expect a heavyweight selection from one of the pillar's of Manchester's underground community.
