✨ The 77th Annual Cannes Film Festival ✨
Honored to have attended the premieres for The Seed of the Sacred Fig, and The Most Precious of Cargoes. I balled my eyes out for longer than I’d like to admit, and was viscerally reminded of how powerful this art form truly is.
A huge thank you to @filmhedge & @jgosier for being kind enough to show us the ropes during our first time at Cannes. I am incredibly grateful for the numerous questions you allowed us to ask you and your team, and for the opportunity to learn more about the financial side of filmmaking.
This experience was inspiring beyond what I could have ever imagined, from learning the history of the festival’s inception, to the incredible networking opportunities and glamourous, yet momentous premieres.
