Thank you GENLUX Creative Director Stephen Kamifuji for bringing me on to shoot this story.
We wanted to stay true to the soft, romantic feel of this collection, taking our inspiration from Louis Vuitton’s Spring runway show. The show was held at the Louvre in an exhibit of the apartments of the Queen of France in the mid 1600’s, Anne d’Autriche. It was a baroque setting with opulent interiors & arched windows that let in the Paris sunlight, dressed with some recent vintage Art Deco pieces giving it a more homey feel. I wanted to emulate the show’s vibe of intimate moments at home amongst a majestic setting with light pouring in from the windows. The Desert Dog House, designed by Chris Collins, was the perfect setting.
