Siblings Raymond and Coco Zhang sell forged paintings to unsuspecting parties. Coerced by a disgraced millionaire, they create counterfeit masterpieces for his family’s collection. Meanwhile, FBI agent Emily Lee investigates their work and their lives converge to devastating effect in the Zhang family dim sum restaurant.
Forge, along with filmmaker Jing Ai Ng, and producers Liz Daering-Glass and Gabrielle Cordero, have collectively received support from four Film Independent Labs and Programs over the past five years: Screenwriting Lab (2021), Fast Track (2023) and the Fiction Producing Lab (2024, 2025). The film premiered at 2025 @SXSW .
