A few years ago Madison and I were rock climbing and there was a āleather for sale - going out of bizā sign- when we left a few hours later allllll the pallets were free.
I loooooaded up the car and all this gorgeous leather has been boxed up because, well, leatherā¦scary.
Then my IG pal @lsleatherandstone dove into bag making and her leather work is unreal. After stalking her stories for a really long time I finally got the courage to dabble in this leather.
Oh my gosh I just love this bag so much ā¤ļø
My Babylock struggled for sure but my trusty Kenmore (thanks MIL!) did the job š

I started sewing 25 years ago (!) and took a VERY long hiatus because of makes like this.
It took six years of being ā@si.essentials ā, my own sewing studio and soooo many hours of si/sew time to finally get he bravery to attempt a woven like this.
But, I did it! And I love it! Now for another one ā¤ļø

My other grey, full - zip reef was too big and got a nasty oil stain. Sooo, finally had the time and desire to do this second one. Man, this pattern is a labor of love but I really do like how they come out š

This was my muslin for the NYE sparkly gold yoga pants.
I looooove the no seam crotch and the top stitched front seam gives them a slight edge beyond āregularā black leggings.
Fabric: #peachedperformance from @amandasbundles (itās the only fabric I will use for leggings from now on! So soft but sturdy and thick too- a must have!)
Sooooo excited with how this #taossweater came out.
I was nervous about the pink (and about the sizing!) but once it all came together (in the last two steps of this project!) it was love! Thank goodness because this was a (dare I say) 6-7 hour project š¤
