2025 THE YEAR OF SHOW BRAIN! WE WANT TO SAY THANK YOU! ❤️
To our supporters, donors, volunteers, staff, and of course, the artists! Everyone played a part in this communal celebration of music. Together, we partied!
This year was another one for the books. From the success of our biggest and third annual two-day Show Brain Festival in August, to hosting in 16 shows iconic parks across NYC (Tompkins Square Park, Washington Square Park, Maria Hernandez Park, and Randall’s Island), 11K followers, and dozens of volunteers, we continued our passion of bringing music into public spaces, exposing a new audience, making our shows accessible, free and all ages, and building community around it.
We were also proud to have collaborated with @creemmag@casagogolrecords@punkislandnyc@redbull and @obscure.coffee ⚡️ working alongside partners who believe in the same DIY spirit and cultural impact that drives Show Brain.
This video captures just a glimpse of the energy that defined our year. All filmed and edited by one of the best in the biz @katieo_23 🧠 additional thanks to @bdevenezia@lawlessconcerts and @auelauel for additional footage 🖤
Thank you for showing up, supporting independent music, and helping us prove that these spaces, and the music scene matter.
See you in 2026! 🧠 🖤

Outdoor indie music mini-festival @Showbrain_ launched its free show season in Tompkins Square Park despite a foreboding rain forecast that ended up being more of a fine mist, which is the optimal spring botanical conditions for the fully-blossomed headliner, the prolific Hicksville, Long Island, NY power pop aces @TheLemonTwigs , led by gifted singer-songwriter brothers @BrianPaulDaddarrio 🎤 🎸 & @MichaelHallDaddario 🎤 🎸, whose catchy riffs, abundant hooks, & sweet, melting Beach Boys-style harmonies with longtime bassist @DrDannyMusic 🎤 & newer member @DaisyGlaze7 🥁 🎤 (also of @Uni.Boyss ) delighted the large crowd with many swell tracks from just-released @CapturedTracks LP Look For Your Mind!, and this splendid version of "Ghost Run Free" (which, like many Lemon Twigs songs, evokes tunes you think you have heard before, but can't place because of their deft melodic reframing; in this case, there's a spirit of The La's classic "There She Goes" hovering), from 2023 LP Everything Harmony.
