A special moment of San Francisco craftsmanship on the international stage 🇰🇷🌉
Earlier this spring, SFMade member @bojagihome reached out with an idea ahead of Mayor @danielluriesf ’s trip to Seoul. In Korean culture, wrapping a gift in bojagi is a meaningful gesture of respect and good fortune, and founder Judy wanted to create a bespoke wrap for the gifts being presented during the visit.
We were able to get her connected with with the Mayor’s Office, and she created a custom bojagi in San Francisco Giants colors, which Mayor Lurie used to present a piece of stone from San Francisco City Hall to the Mayor of Seoul during the trip commemorating the 50th anniversary of the sister city relationship between San Francisco and Seoul.
We love seeing local manufacturers and artists contribute to moments like these — bringing culture, craftsmanship, and stories made in San Francisco to a global stage!

We have a great program planned for the night, including keynote remarks from Anne Taupier (OEWD) and Allison Banks (Heath Ceramics), the announcement of SFMade’s 2026 Manufacturer of the Year awards, featured local manufacturers, and food and drinks from across the SFMade community.
We’re excited to bring together manufacturers, makers, supporters, and partners from across the Bay Area for a night of connection and celebration.
