🎬 WAR GAME: THE MAKING OF S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 | OFFICIAL FILM is Out!
Last week, the documentary film I’ve been working on was released, and I’m beyond honored and proud to be part of it. I’ve always wanted to collaborate on documentary films with international crews to share our culture and tell meaningful stories to the world. With this film, that vision has come to life.
I believe Ukrainians have something extraordinary to contribute to the global cultural landscape. After enduring so much — from famine and oppressive regimes to nuclear catastrophe, the chaotic ‘90s, and now war — we continue to strive not just to exist, but to live with joy, creativity, and love. This resilience has made us resourceful and inventive, pushing us to rely on ourselves and make things happen. I think this spirit we can share with the world. At the same time, we know there is so much we can learn. I’m sure that only through collaboration and synergy people can create something bigger and greater — something that helps to make this modern world a better place.
I’m proud to stand alongside people who create in the face of destruction.
I’m deeply grateful to our people, friends, brothers and sisters who fight every day on the frontline, giving all of us the chance to live freely 💙💛

More than three and a half years ago, I had one clear thought: I wanted to make a feature documentary about Ukraine, together with a foreign director.
Almost six months ago, @ariamark and I had our very first meeting about this film 🎞️ Last month, we wrapped our main unit filming 🎥
There’s still work ahead, but I want to pause here to share my deep gratitude to the whole team for being part of such an important and meaningful project. Nothing compares to this journey 🫶
I’m proud and grateful that this film has given us the chance to explore life, our country, and different cultures, to meet incredible people and have conversations that truly matter.
For me, this film is an opportunity to share a unique story that’s happening in Ukraine with the world. And to talk about themes that are not only urgent for us now, but also deeply universal.

My name is Serafima and I’m a Producer. Much of my work is under NDA, maybe that’s why even my life-long friends don’t fully get what I do.
So I want to share a bit about myself and how we can work together.
I’ve spent my life in production: videos, photos, films. And depending on the day, my work can mean discussing national identity with a director, tracking down a rabies vaccine, uploading footage from a city with no electricity, or juggling budgets and human being issues.
Lately, I’ve shifted into long-form projects, so results often take time to share publicly.
This year, I’m filled with excitement and can’t wait to share:

For the first time, I felt what it means when a city accepts you.
It can happen in the most unexpected ways — in the respect between strangers, the quiet moments in public places, when it’s cold outside but warm inside, or even in an unexpected conversation with a young stripper who asked my name. I told her she wouldn’t remember it. She insisted, and it turned out she had a huge tattoo on her hand with my name. That’s insane 😅 most people haven’t even heard my name before! Ahahah.
I’ve always admired the way Germans live. I think they know how to enjoy life. Maybe that’s why some of them say “life and work balance” instead of “work and life.”
