Annihilation Core Inherited Lore is an absolutely mind blowing research project (30k collected images) and installation by @nouratafeche currently at @foto_museum . Pulling together the cute, the violent and the pornographic under the term Kawayoku (kawaii + bōryoku -> cute violence) Tafeche materializes the invisible through lines from manga to infantilized OF creators to sexualized military propaganda all under the prompt: "What was once percieved as violent now might become desirable.“ 10/10 - absolute must see.
Mystic algo-core artwork by @aramis.navarro at @kunsthallesanktgallen . Many layers, beautiful show. Like the post that you scroll back to because you think you missed something, the pieces draw you in and force you to return to them more than once. The esotheric code snippeds on the curse boards were as piercing as the bones that pierced through their metal. Mysticism as software seems to be all the rage atm. Good. Cause we really need more in betweens, more maybes, more i dont knows and more divine interventions. Or dont we? In any case, this show had it all. Confident and somehow open ended, inviting (def ambiguous inference(input_phrase):
return superposed realities (decode via mood(input phrase)) and hostile (visceral by arrow, cerebral by code) at the same time, it leaves you with one notion: the software on the wall is but the shadow of the artist standing at the caves entrance.
