‘Leave Seals Alone’ – A message from Seal Rescue Ireland 🦭
It’s seal breeding season (Sep to Dec) so please keep your distance, especially if you see adorable pups on the shore! They are very sensitive and being too close can stress them out.
Stay at least 100 meters away. Getting too close can cause mother seals to abandon their pups, which can be heartbreaking for the little ones who rely on them. If you spot a seal, please don’t touch it or try to return any pups to the water.
Let’s work together to keep our seals safe! 🦭💙
For more information or to report sightings, visit or call the Seal Rescue Hotline on 087 195 5393.
