We’re buzzing (and slightly nervous) to announce that Scottish Creative Network is teaming up with @fuckupnights_glasgow for a night dedicated to the stuff that doesn’t go to plan. 👀
Because behind every “success story” is usually a trail of bad decisions, awkward moments, near disasters… and a few absolute howlers.
If you’ve never been to a FuckUp Night, expect speakers getting real about the times things went spectacularly wrong and what they learned from it. It’s honest, it’s relatable, and yes… it’s very, very funny.
Speakers dropping soon. It’s gonna be a treat.

We recently asked some of our regulars and previous speakers to talk on-camera about what they get out of SCN, why they come back, and what makes it different.
Thanks to @nathanhughesdesigns@thechattyfreelancer@_lostastronaut@jadepaynter and @lisa_hopper_coaching for being bold and honest in front of the camera and sharing your thoughts with us - we shared a shorter version of this at ChangeNOW earlier this month, but thought we should share it with the rest of our friends too.
As always, @differentlightphotography and @grubb.creative continue to be blown away by the community that we've built around our chaotic twist on networking, the support we get here at @thesocialhub.glasgow and the friendships we've both made on this zany journey.

There were so many valuable takeaways and reminders that this is something we all need to be paying more attention to in our creative work. 💻✨

This month’s game, “Scrambled Eggs” 🥚Ross and Greig filled Easter eggs with chocolate (most important) hot takes, icebreakers, challenges… and for the unlucky few, some very daft dares. (Yes, we thoroughly enjoyed the “tell your worst joke” moments 😂).
We’re always blown away by the community that shows up each month open, supportive, and up for a laugh. 💜

Today @differentlightphotography and @grubb.creative took the story of SCN to an international stage!
Invited by @thesocialhub to help tell the story of why a "Hi" can lead to meaningful human connections, build community and friendships.
Imagine, Ross and Greig hadn't connected over coffee at @thesocialhub.glasgow . We wouldn't have connected, became great friends or dreamed of collaborating on a project together.
But we did. And that project brought together not just our skills, but our love of community, and shared journeys.
Over the last year and a half, we've integrated with special communities, at TSH and brought our own community through the door every month for creative chaos and connections that build lasting relationships.
