Hello everyone 👋 recovery update ⚕️
First of all. Thank you to @dobbieandrew for setting up the still going gofundme when the tumbling exit and transition into the unknown was unfolding. Rent, Bills, food, duties and even thinking of physio costs down the line was an impossible hurdle to comprehend with the severity of the injury and its predicted recovery time.
Thank you to every beautiful soul who's donated, bought any of my art prints. Everyone who sent a loving message. @ohpandah who got my new prints up, manned a stall himself during this and more. My beautiful @k8ty who went full columbo and became the central contact on day 1 for everyone / getting my phone fixed / doing runs and being there. The strangers who were with me on the road keeping me awake and calm. The brave kid who gave me a tissue for my bleeding head. The paramedics who got me to the emergency room rapid. The doctors, surgeons and nurses being thorough and human with their care. My family and friends for the visits and taking care of things that needed squared whilst I was out of it.
I'm now home resting with my folks in Larkhall. 6 weeks post op for healing. And 3 months recovery is what I've been told. I'm unbelievably lucky to be alive, I recall staring at the back bus wheel coming towards my face, moving enough to where it just thumped my lower back and hip. I love you all. I'm still here and the love shared was more healing than you'll ever know. ♥️
I planned this post before the accident. 10th year of @yardworksglasgow montage. We weren’t around for the last two I think. Featuring @ciaranglobel in most, some flicks not found.
Come say hello to @ohpandah on my behalf at the grateful stall if you’re down.
Thanks again for the positive messages, I’ll keep everyone updated with the surgery ahead. Unknown times and a different life ahead.

Human Nature – Acrylic – 2026
Conzo & Glöbel
At last—posting this. It’s also the final week to visit this (free) exhibition.
Currently on display at the @hunterianglasgow as part of Views of Glasgow: A Window Into Communities (5 December 2025 – 26 April 2026).
The piece was too large to fit in the studio, so it had to be painted in my room—taking over 24 consecutive days to complete.
Myself and Ciaran, working with the @gratefulglasgow
, were asked to contribute artwork representing how individuals can impact the city.
We told a visual story of a disused, forgotten telephone box repurposed into a greenhouse by a renegade gardener.
The watering can features Glasgow’s iconic Mr Happy (from the 1980s “Miles Better” campaign), symbolising the city’s people power—smiling in the face of adversity. This went onto inspiring part of a real life ongoing citywide community project.

‘The Wee Yin’ has been creating so much joy all over Glasgow the last few days (Hands up if you’ve seen him! 🙋).
Everywhere we go people can’t help but smile - us included.
So we took him on a wee tour round some of Glasgow’s most loved locations: The Barrowlands, @thesocialhub.glasgow past the Duke of Wellington (traffic cone and all), past the Met Tower and into the West End and of course to @gratefulglasgow before speeding off through the Clyde Tunnel and home to Eaglesham.
Not bad for for the wee man’s first trip round Glasgow!
With the Wee Yin’s look having been inspired by Glasgow’s Miles Better city branding from the 1980s, we then took some inspiration from the Glasgow Garden Festival of 1988 (who’s old enough to remember that? No judgement 👀) and decided to do a bit of guerrilla gardening on the way with some @seedbom wildflower grenades, hoping they’ll bloom all over Glasgow just in time for the @glasgow_2026 in July. We’ll need to check back then to see!
It’s a big day tomorrow as I have a meeting with the building owners, and I have lots of exciting things to share with them. So wish me luck! 🤞
Huge teamwork from @conzothrob@wandernhouse@bd_print@eagleshamgarageglasgow@madebrave team and our wee pal the @microlino_official@microlino_uk to pull this one off with such speed. Expertly filmed by big beefcake @davidbrycelandmccourt

You’ve all heard of Billy Connelly. He’s an absolute legend. And in Glasgow we call him the Big Yin. Now, Remember that wee @microlino_uk that @eagleshamgarageglasgow gave us. On Friday I had @conzothrob in my studio to talk about doing a mural. He’d shown me a photo of a painting he and @ciaranglobel recently done in the Hunterian museum in Glasgow. And when I saw that wee watering can that was inspired by the old Glasgow’s Miles Better City branding from the 1980s, I said forget the mural, we should do THAT on the car. Next thing, I was on the phone to John at @bd_print pulled off a miracle for us and had it wrapped sunshine yellow for us in a day. And so yesterday morning, Conzo got to work painting it while @davidbrycelandmccourt from @wandernhouse came along to create a film for us.
It’s the smiliest little car you’ve ever seen, and in honour of Billy, we decided to name it ’The Wee Yin’. We spent the day driving it all over Glasgow, filming in different locations and we were making new firends everywhere we went. This wee car is going to bring a lot of joy to Glasgow. And we’re excited to see what’s next. If you want to see the finished result from Dave? Follow for Part 13 P.s I’ll have the car down at @thesocialhub.glasgow in Glasgow today if you want to come and see it #Glasgow #PeopleMakeGlasgow #MetTower
Merry Christmas to everyone from the three of us at Grateful.
Cheers as always for all the support.
We are closed for a couple of weeks and will reopen on the 7th of January.
Big ups to @conzothrob for all his hard work on this final mural of the year.
