Over more than two decades, the city has profoundly shaped his artistic and musical journey, from his early years in the hip-hop dance scene to his immersion in electronic music and club culture, and most recently, his studies at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. In his artistic practice, Đặng examines his diasporic identity as a site of cultural negotiation, a personal journey that has led him back to Vietnamese music with renewed appreciation, curiosity and care.
