Mum you are the reason I’m resilient, brave and strong. Mum taught me how to fight for what I believe in and to be an independent woman.
My mother sadly passed 14.04.26 peacefully in her sleep. Her name was Pin. I’m sadden that I wasn’t there with you. I’m home now.
I’m the youngest child. I don’t have a Khmer name, but she called me baby (Beb-bee). I was her baby, but I also was her caretaker. When I was younger because I spoke the most fluent Khmer my mother would take me out of school to translate for doctors and appointments. I see now that she knew that I was the strong one, she saw the capacity in me before I even knew it.
I remember one time she went to the shops, and told someone she had to go home to cook for her baby. The lady asked, oh how old is your baby? She laughed telling me the story when I got home. I was 20 something at the time.
Mum I’m so immensely sorry about how things were rushed you deserved better. But I know you’re always here with me. Whilst our relationship wasn’t perfect my mother always gave me shelter, a home and food on the table. She gave me the opportunity to be free. Something she herself was never awarded. She loved me very much, and I felt that.
Mum I hope you’re at peace now and are able to spend another life in the afterlife. I’m grateful for all the things you sacrificed for me and I look forward to living and caring for you again in the future.
Over the moon and so grateful to announce that I am making my composer and performance debut for The Coconut Children theatre show at @belvoirst later this year!
I first was approached to see if this is something I’d be interested in, and truthfully I’ve always wanted to compose so it feels like the universe has aligned here.
Grateful for the opportunity thanks @cat.vandavies and @hannahgoodwin08 for the trust.
It’s incredible to see how far making electronic music has taken me, and I’m so here for it. Particularly as a SEA woman making music in the electronic scene!!!
I’ll also be DJing the composition I make for the show so you’ll also see me throughout the play as well. This is gonna be so fun!
Double event day, is now my thing. Proud of the girls and our takeovers at @club77sydney last night.
The crowd was honestly the best. Thank you all for dancing and the kind words. I am so back xx
A bitter sweet time trip home in VN earlier this month. I can’t stress how loved and thankful I am for my VN fam. I apologise for cancelling my gigs and to not be able to play my sets in Saigon. Thank you to the venues for their understanding.
Thank you to my Hanoi and Saigon fam. Who helped me get back asap and cared for me in ways I could never imagined.
To have two homes here in oz and there is a gift. Chi yêu you. Xx

Just wanted to take time to thank everyone for your loving words, msgs and gifts. To friends who have helped, checked-in and ensured I get out for air. Thank you.
I’m not really ok. But I know it’s part of the process.
Grateful for my friends who have held space for me. And for my love @wettmabb for holding me in the hardest time of my life.
I love you all. Thank you xx

Hanoi Oi! This Friday we’re celebrating our 6th year of @hanoicommunityradio . It’s been incredible to have come this far and I’m grateful for the team we’ve built.
We are raising funds to do another year and truthfully I’ll be letting the universe decide if we should continue after that.
Running a radio station is incredibly hard as a full time artist, and particularly in Hanoi where local support seems bare. I do my best, and I know the presenters do as well. But like a lot of my life, I’m continuing to grow only in spaces that water me.
So if you’re around, come through, dance and celebrate the hard work my team and presenters have put! Grateful for the time and connections we’ve had so far! But I also want to highlight the realities of running a station as well.
We’ve manage to grow DJs and support spaces and look forward to the future whatever that may bring.
