Today Scatter is observing #BlackoutTuesday and pausing business-as-usual out of solidarity for the Black community. Recent events have brought the long chain of abuses and ingrained racial injustices in the United States to a head. We are making space to acknowledge this moment, listen, learn and engage. We are committed to taking action.⠀
⠀
Our team is taking action through protesting, financial contributions, deep introspection, community conversation, and sharing the stories and artwork of those with direct experience of injustice.⠀
⠀
Some of the causes our team supports: @blklivesmatter , @campaignzero , & @colorofchange . For more funding links visit bit.ly/fundthecommunity via @reclaimtheblock . There are multiple ways to show your support and fight for racial justice.⠀
⠀
Thank you to our community for acting, amplifying and showing up. To our Black community members, we stand with you.⠀

We’re honored to be among a special group in receiving a @knightfdn grant to expand the Volumetric Histories initiative piloted with Blackout into a public exhibition with @movingimagenyc next year.
We’ll share more as the project evolves, but for now we’re just grateful. Learn more at https://buff.ly/2pVR9q5.
We're so grateful to the Kickstarter backers of the original prototype that kicked this all off and we're overdue for an update. Look out for that shortly and a sense of what this means for you!
