This Saturday Jan 17th at 7pm “Witness” will be officially released and celebrated at Dekum St. Theater - we can’t wait! Very excited to announce the album release show for @sama_dams on January 17th at @dekumstreettheater with opening duo set by @kelli_schaefer 🖤 this show has been in the works for some time and we are so glad to finally share it with you! This theater is one of kind in town, with around 100 seats, an incredible sound system, and lots of room for artists to curate their own unique installations. With tickets being limited, we highly encourage you to buy them asap, as all the shows sell out and there are typically no day of. This show will be LIVE RECORDED, and an intimate experience that will surely satisfy. It’s @sama_dams album release day and what a wonderful day to share that Sam Adams himself will be teaching our November songwriting workshop at Second Story !! Go listen to the new record and sign up for this four week workshop today. Tuesdays in November 7:30-8:45pm. :)))))

Today this record, WITNESS, that was years in the making, is finally released, from our friends @sama_dams 💫 it was developed during the pandemic and touches on subjects most considered during that time; familial relations, self examination, and the expansion of a household, as they brought their son Danny into this world. It is true to Sama Dams form, with borderline deteriorating fuzz guitars, organ and synth pads grounding and warm, with the occasional Sam synth wildly flying, all the while the ticking percussive elements (by @__micah___ 🙏🏻) reminding you (at least in music) that time is malleable. Of course their voices alone or together are the magic, displaying the beauty of their yin to yang. We are honored to be working with them, which has been a dream of mine since the first time I saw them at a forgotten venue somewhere on Belmont in 2011? A night I will never forget, in addition to all the stages we have shared together over the past 13 or so years. They exemplify what it means to be a musician, absolutely commanded by it, unwilling to let go of it, and I know there is so much more to come from them. Congrats🖤 This record is being pressed currently, and is available to order through their bandcamp or the link in our bio💫release show TBA, but tonight we celebrate!
