Another day another repair.

This dual LA2A is one of my favorite pieces I've built, It gets used on pretty much every recording. Often I don't even use it for gain reduction, just as an amplifier, or a tube/transformer sauce box. After close to 10 years of duty the opto cells finally gave out. Quick swap and it's back in the rack!
Another pair that got some work recently.

Replaced the bender on the HS 60 that's been broken for ages, (from a @rileygeare mid solo headbutt) and removed the old speakers that never get used. Just need to replace the chorus chips, hit it with some goo gone and it'll be 100%.
The Crumar got new fader caps, a thorough interior clean, two new keys and a custom sustain pedal for the piano/clav sounds.
On a repair kick lately.

These two weren't powering but after replacing a capacitor and giving the switches a good clean they're back in business, ready to mangle samples in the most delightful way. Next up is giving my circuit bent SK-2 a once over as well. #casiotone
Some snaps from the last 5 weeks with @tennisinc and @sam.evian . 'Preciate everyone in both crews for being hilarious, kindhearted and fastidious on top of being rad musicians. Always appreciate the opportunity to design and run lights out on the road, I may suck at taking photos but hopefully my work makes it fun for people who don't. Box cars baby!
