Doorways (To a Future)
Server doors, server keys, surface transducer vibrating at 432 Hz, microcontroller, scanned monastery column fragment, PLA, resin, automotive filler, acrylic paint, adhesive, mounting hardware

In Doorways (To a Future), the doors of a server rack are presented as portals to new ways of understanding and constructing world and reality. On the wall a server door frames 5 effigies of âGoldmaskâ, an ascetic monk from the videogame Elden Ring. Below, another door is propped up by a 3D printed orb and monastery column fragment. The inserted keys offer the potential of exit and escape. A transducer attached to the door transforms the metal panel into a speaker, vibrating at a frequency of 432 Hz.
