My first venture into filmmaking was an attempt to make sense of the growing pains I experienced during my final years in Bristol, a playful allegorical effort to bring that chapter to a close.
Thank you to my brilliant, tiny team for pulling this off on a Sunday morning and specially to Keira’s superb talent for bringing my own tangled emotions to life in her own beautiful and intuitive way. ⚡️
Huge thanks to Işıl and the rest of the team at @ifsak for the invitation and for giving me the perfect excuse to finally visit Türkiye. Istanbul was the first city I ever dreamed of travelling to, I can’t wait to get lost in it.
The festival runs from the 9th to 15th of March, the full program is available on their website.
