We’re delighted that the Blunk Rings have been awarded a Wallpaper* Design Award, and are featured in the 21st annual Design Awards issue this month! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The original rings were both integral manifestations of Blunk’s gestural artistic process, and treasured expressions of his love and affection for his friends and family. We’re so grateful to J. A fundamental for any furniture design studio, the chair is often the defining piece in every collection. In our own product armoury, the Avery, has stood the test of time as the only chair design to hold the fort for the last two decades. A true representation of our values, and sculpted to our own idea of perfection, we didn’t entertain the desire for another chair design for 20 years, instead extending the Avery blueprint across a series of accompanying seating styles, with or without arms or raised as a counter stool. When I first laid eyes on this 1930s Cream Netted Petal Cape Gown on a mannequin in the middle of nowhere I knew it was destined for something. There are those pieces that possess a certain promise that you know their journey isn’t yet over despite some tatters. That very moment presented itself for the last Galerie Half campaign. It’s an absolute honor to play even the smallest role in their vision.
