The final day for the @toolegitfitness x @runlocalofficial squad required an extra gear in the final push for Las Vegas. More wind. More elevation. More desert heat. 350 miles + a couple of extra due to wildfire. Started at Santa Monica Pier on Friday morning. Finished on the Las Vegas strip. Every single one of us still standing and smiling together. Still having fun doing hard things. @thespeedproject Rewind 2: Here I Go Again
After a first day of having to adapt to the environment and with sleep deprivation settling in, Day 2 found the team grinding out solo miles through the desert, supporting one another through some more difficult terrain and getting comfortable with the desert night. Today was the day things got real as they say.

@thespeedproject Rewind 1 of 3: Earth, Wind & Fire @toolegitfitness x @runlocaloffical started the journey at 4am at the Santa Monica Pier. 12 runners, 3 crew. 25-63 years old. Mostly from the Bay. All the feelings of TSP in one day: 🧭 excitement of the start 🚗 car mechanical issues 🔥 evacuated from Soledad Canyon due to Crown Fire adding another half marathon or so to the journey, but making new friends along the way 😤 40mph wind gusts and lots of climbing on the reroute 💪 coming back together and beginning to roll through the desert @frankthom.photo
