The Expanders around 10 years ago in Hermosa Beach. We used to play this tune a lot when we felt like the set needed a shot of energy. It’s a medley of “Get Ready To Ride The Lion To Zion” by Culture and “On The Other Side” by The Gladiators (the latter written by the great @clintonfearon ). @vinnyvinnyvlo shot this vid. She has told me many many times in the years since that it is her favorite Expanders video because of how John Asher is killing on drums. It’s true! The drums are wicked in this clip. I especially love how all of us in the front are smiling the whole time at how the band is crushing. Thankful for my Expanders family ❤️.
