Devin Morrison and John Butcher, two founding members of The Expanders, are our guests on Episode 123 of the History of LA Ska: One On One Sessions hosted by Junor Francis.
Beyond his role in The Expanders, Devin has worked with Long Beach Dub Allstars, The Lions, Man Like Devin & The Relatives, and even Hepcat. John has also collaborated with Jr. Thomas & The Volcanos, The Steady 45s, Western Standard Time Ska Orchestra, Brothers of Reggae, and Ryan Thorne & The Ramblers.
Since their formation in Los Angeles in 2003, The Expanders have garnered a devout fan base. They have performed at iconic spots like the Bluebeat Lounge and Dub Club, backed up numerous Jamaican music legends, and toured with some of the biggest names in reggae.
