Good times lemme tell ya. ‘89-‘90 i start going to shows. And they were some of the best. Hepcat & Jump With Joey at The Country Club & King King were not only powerfully influential, but were the beginning of enduring friendships that I’m forever grateful for. This past weekend with The Slackers was a super fun reminder of that. Maximum respect & love to the singers & players that have created the best scene & soundtrack a youth in this mad world could ever ask for. Greg Lee & David Fuentes everyone misses you.
Done! So @jennylibrary visited me recently & did this abstract, & I later painted silent film icon Theda Bara (as Cleopatra) and the All-seeing Eye on it so although we’ve made music together in the past (Warpaint) this is our first ever unplanned collaborative painting. Acrylic on canvas. 16” x 20”.

Found this clip of a random practice with me, @mrpharmacist72 & @pachyman working on one of the spontaneous riffs we did that sounded cool enough for me to record it (only on phone). Pretty rad, it reminds me of/sounds like Killing Joke, who we all loved. I cut it into two parts. @ex_stains dissolved before we put anything out proper, although 5 songs we recorded at @dantewhitealiano ‘s are up on bandcamp. I’ll put a link to it in bio. Rest In Peace, Gregg. You were so talented, loving & had fantastic style & taste. We had a lotta fun! I remember the first time we practiced. I was blown away by how SICK your sound & playing were. Wish I could have made more noise with you. Maybe we can make a real racket in the next world together. ❤️
