We fucked around and found out at CTRL Discotheque What started as exploration into sharing what we love turned into an extraordinary family and a vibrant community. This unique experiment allowed many to discover facets of themselves and unexpected connections with others, shaping a space where every note and step resonated with belonging. The sudden closure has placed an unforeseen financial weight on us. If the memories within our walls hold a special place in your heart, any contribution would mean the world as we navigate the challenges we’re now facing. Your support not only covers costs but also keeps the spirit alive in the hearts of those who cherished it. For those who supported through buying tickets, sharing music, art, and dance floor expression, we’re immensely grateful. CTRL was never about profitability, it was a labor of love. The team has contributed around $720 on average monthly to keep the dance floor alive. We’ve started a go fund me, any contribution will help us recoup the losses we’re now facing due to our landlord keeping our deposit and the cost of moving out. To navigate these challenges, we will be unveiling a special run of CTRL merchandise. Your support before preorders open will have a monumental impact. CTRL presents the second edition of VisioSpatial: ft. Sans Nom, Eusebios, Cody. Saturday the 16th, three DJs reach deep in their crates for the strange, psychedelic, and otherworldly rhythms and grooves of dance music. All pull from their knowledge & personal experience of the late hour funktions, the spaces adjacent to the four to the floor main attractions, or exploratory sessions amongst fellow deep divers.

Saturday December 2nd we take a deep dive into the vast territories of house music as we welcome Tye West with his soulful, minimal, and exploratory selections. Tye pulls from over two decades of crate digging, allowing him to craft unique musical journeys with the right energy and purpose. Support for the night comes from local heroes Luis Lozano, James McGeehan and CTRL resident Cody. All accompanied by Decelorator on visual duties, further exploring the relationship between light and sound.

Somewhere between spooky season and the cold winter months derps a wonky little holiday celebrating community and rude tunes: our beloved Danksgiggin’ Returning for a FIFTH🙀 year, @ctrldisco and I are stoked to present Danksgiggin’: REBOOT. This holiday has always been about expressing gratitude for our local bass familia and for each other. So in true spirit, REBOOT will feature a mix of new blood and old favorites, friends silver and gold, a few new twists, and a special space just as suited to gettin’ cozy as it is to gettin’ giggin’.
