Kim’s bio-
#fluebinding I was born and raised in SoCal and have been fishing since I was 4 years old. I picked up a fly rod for the first time 6 years ago when my folks retired up to Oregon and it quickly became my obsession. I started tying flies in 2021 and have been dedicated to learning new techniques and exercising my creativity at the vise. My specialty is baitfish patterns (specifically Pop Fleyes) and I have a small custom fly business called The Flies That Bind. I love tying on the Fly Fishing Show circuit and I enjoy the opportunity to share advice and guidance that other amazing tiers have so generously shared with me over the years. I have also been enjoying my new obsession of fly fishing the SoCal saltwater scene.
