@deadmeatcustoms reached out to me about something called “Old Farts Arts & Crafts,” my first thought was… wait, who, me?! Then I remembered I’m pushing 40 😂
Jokes aside, this project was an absolute blast. I love that he’s spotlighting female artists in the bait-making community. I really wanted my piece to feel personal… like most of us “old farts” just vibing in our space, painting baits with our favorite throwback music playing 🎶 & you know I had to have my signature nails in the pic! 💅🏻
And of course, I had to include my pup. Most of us have that shop companion keeping us company, mine was my Maltese, Tia. I lost her back in July, so this was my way of honoring her ❤️
Lately I’ve released a new lure with
@lazybaitsco the Swamp Stalker jitterbug resin frog, so I added it to the scene mid-paint. This shot really captures me in my element. 💓
