A moment between everything else, stepping back in to adjust and perfect the table setup once more before guests moved from drinks to dinner al fresco.
What sits behind images like this is rarely a single role.
On this occasion, I was a guest, a bridesmaid, a maid of honour, and also responsible for shaping, refining and holding the work together as the lead planner and designer behind the celebrations. So I was definitely acting in far more than my professional capacity!
It is never just about what is visible in our portfolio or shared in our socials. It is the accumulation of decisions, made over time and in real moments, that allow everything to read as one. Cohesion is built through careful work ahead of time, and then carried through in the ongoing, often fluid conversations with clients and collaborators, where plans are refined and practical realities are quietly resolved.
This multi-day destination wedding was deeply personal. Complex, at times demanding, and done from the heart. Not everything of value is purely transactional. Some things are simply gifted in time and place.

It felt like a dream starting the evening on this gorgeous Provençal estate capturing portraits of @katiejulia_ in her vintage @dior dress with her love @buckparker_
We then moved into the courtyard of La Bastide de Laurence for the Welcome Dinner which held such intentional design details created by the artist bride herself. From the painted patterns in the linens and napkins to the bespoke dress that Katie changed into - made from silk organza with her watercolor paintings printed on it.
The goal was a blend of retro Slim Aaron’s and Impressionism - vibrant and refined. Together with her planner @studiosorores they created a stunning design combining timeless elegance with modernity, where every detail - from the ambience to the food - set the tone for a beautiful celebration ahead.

A truly spectacular few days in Provence for @katiejulia_ and @buckparker_ wedding celebrations. The rosé flowed, the fashion slayed and we laughed until our bellies hurt.

Our private wedding dinner party 💕
For our church ceremony we decided to host a very small and private dinner party in the grounds of the family home for just our closest bridal party and immediate family members. We have a big celebration in October so it felt right to mark the occasion with something simple and intimate.
It’s super hard designing an event for yourself, but we chose Thesomething that felt right for the setting and occasion - a very feminine, thrown together, Cotswolds inspired, romantic and slightly vintage, with intricate details and pastel florals. A sort of elevated cottage core look! It’s an aesthetic that reminds me of growing up… picking wild elderflower, cosying up with earl grey tea on a family friends floral cushion scattered sofa, large slices of pink iced cake in bohemian cafes, girls in white cotton dresses paddling in streams with wild garlic scent in the air… but elevated with a little “joy” added in the colour scheme.
