A time was had! We have just returned from Outdoor Connections - A residential weekend to meet other nature based community leaders from all over the U.K. with a shared mission; to open up the outdoors so it’s accessible and represented by all 💚 The weekend was full of activities , walks, talks & giggles all led by us - for us. We led a netwalking event and co-led a workshop on successful partnerships with @openmindsactive , watched the sunset , are too many cookies and admired so many bunnies and lambs 😍 It was beautifully welcoming and @yhailamhall was stunning ☀️ If your a community leader with the same mission, highly recommend signing up next year💚 Thank you @alltheelements_ x @yhaofficial for another wholesome weekend

A year well roamed. We've been loving looking back at some of this year’s community events... Hitting trails, cooking outdoors, roaming slow and getting lost on purpose. It's been a blast. ✌️

This account marks a fresh start for me - a new venture that lets me pursue my creative interests, cut down on screen time, and embrace the analogue processes that bring me joy. I didn’t want to copy over too much past work on this account, so I’ve created this reel that features a few projects from my time at @somewhereoffgrid , which sum up my offering and my aesthetic style. It’s always strange looking back through work, it feels like seeing a snapshot of a past self, a reminder of who I was and what I was thinking at that moment in time. So, although this work feels to me like it’s from a past life, it also represents the way I want to work going forward, and reminds me of the lovely folks that I’ve worked with along the way. The first day in Mallorca didn't start off how I'd expected it to. I felt sluggish, my legs didn't want to move and my breathing was laboured (due to a cold and bunged up sinus). The route was flat but still felt difficult and arduous. Stopping at Colònia de Sant Jordi, for a rest by the sea, helped to ease my mind and body. Currently in that weird headspace after getting back from time off; adjusting back to life at home and the perfect chance to put together a recap for May. What a gorgeous month that was for connecting with friends far and wide, but also getting to come back to check in on the progress of our blossoming garden 🪴 Biggest achievement was definitely getting my ass up to Torridon (at last!) and having a grand old time.

We recently caught up with community group @rootsofbelonging , a safe space for mixed, dual heritage, and multicultural people of colour in the outdoors. Following their recent trip, we wanted to further spotlight their epic community work by asking them some questions about their group, what inspires them to get out there, and why it’s so important to have an inclusive space where folks feel that they belong.
