Rocket turns 10! Here is the program for our weekend-long party: 🎉 Saturday - 16.05.2026 Mathias Gondol @l.umarell , a chef and our dear friend who cooked with us for Wine Rush, is back in Berlin! While our shop will be open as usual during the day, Mathias will be serving special snacks from 17 o’clock onwards. Wines by the glass from @jeanpierre_robinot and @jacopostigliano will be poured by Juliette Robinot and Jacopo themselves. From 19:30, a 4-course menu will be served, featuring fresh produce sourced in the Aveyron region. Together with Mathias, we paired his menu with some special bottles to take you on a journey. Think old vintages and winemakers you don’t get to drink every day. Tickets for the dinner are available for presale on our website. We encourage you to book soon, as spots are limited! Link in our bio! If you would like to stop by without commitment, a few seats will be available for walk-ins to enjoy snacks and drinks until 21:00. However, dinner is only available upon booking! 🎉Sunday - 17.05.2026 Sunday, we celebrate in a typical Rocket fashion! Mathias will feed the crowds with meat and vegetable sandwiches on @keit.berlin brioche bread: Meat sandwich w/ Auvergne sausage, salsa verde and Cantal cheese & Vegetable sandwich w/ grilled aubergines, ricotta, rocket, sun-dried tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. BIG bottles will be popped to enjoy with all our friends and customers. A curated selection of bottles will be on for take-away at special prices. We are delighted to be working with producers of high-quality foods that align so well with our approach to natural wine growing. These items, therefore, deserve to be presented in a way which showcases their quality. The current menu is a collection of our favourite dishes—some always on offer and some having a big comeback. We are delighted to present them on shiny new ceramics! * Everyone’s favourite, the cheese plate with a rotating selection of artisanal cheeses sourced by @alte_milch , is now accompanied by a plum jam from the talented hands of Emily Campo, one of the duo of @weingoutte . * A big shipment of Cantabrian anchovies in vinaigrette arrived from @conservasnardin , and we really love how they pair with our homemade preserved vegetables (and a glass of Jura). * Labneh, a thick spread made with strained 10% fat yoghurt, is a dish that originally comes from modern-day Lebanon, Syria, Palestine and Jordan. We are lucky to have a brilliant group of Lebanese customers ❤️ who bring us the essential spice mix, Za’taar, several times a year to serve with this spread, finished with a generous splash of Sicilian olive oil from La famiglia Cannada in Mazzarino. * The same spice mix—containing dried herbs such as thyme and oregano, sumac, toasted sesame seeds and salt, and sometimes cumin—is used in our oven-baked cashews, which we serve with a spoon, since no wastage is allowed here. * Our Italian olives are from Sicily (Dolce Sicilia) and Puglia (Gaeta), thanks to @mammafiore_official We hope you come for a glass and a snack soon, and let us know your favourite dish! 📸 by @attackdecay

Yoshoku at Rocket! The Japanese chef and culinary author Kiki Shimazaki takes over Rocket again! Next week, on March 19th and 20th, Kiki will introduce the staples of “Yoshoku” culture — a unique reimagination of Western dishes with a distinct Japanese twist. These dishes are well-established in Japanese wine bars and bistros because their rich Umami profiles pair exceptionally well with natural wines. We are thrilled for Kiki to keep on sharing Japanese food culture with our customers. The menu will feature both meat and vegan options, and you should not miss out on the dessert from the queen of Matcha! 📖 KIKI Matcha Recipe Book will also be available for purchase for all of those inspired to experiment in their kitchens. Thank you for another great year, our dear Rocket family! A big thanks to all our winemakers, customers, friends and partners in crime! 2025 was full of challenges and changes, big and small, layered in with perfect moments of pure joy. Let’s see what the next year brings. We are ready! From the whole Rocket team, we are wishing you a perfect slide into 2026!

We spent two days hanging out at @cantina_ribela ‘s pristine winery, built by the architect-turned-winemaker Daniele. He took us on a ride through Rome’s established as well as up-and-coming restaurants and bars, walked us through his vineyards and the challenges of his last vintages, and gave us a glimpse into the future ones. A host in the true Italian fashion! We closed our viaggio with an early festive feast at @dlr_frascati —who else to know all the best chefs in any given region than @jacopostigliano ? Chef Jacopone created a menu that could easily fit out two restaurants, but instead it was served at a humble space in a small town outside of Rome. What a treat! We had a wonderful start to the festive season! Thank you, Daniele, Jacopo, and the whole team at DLR! Next Thursday the 18th, winemaker and looongtime Rocket friend, Jacopo Stigliano will be kitchen side and he’ll be dishing up Tagliatelle al Ragù. FRANÇOIS BLANCHARD & STAFFELTER HOF at Rocket! Next Saturday the 29th, two of our favorite winemakers will be warming up the shop with their vibrant and energetic wines from both Loire and Mosel. Izakaya hits Rocket! Spread over two days, Berlin-based Japanese culinary chef Kiki Shimazaki will take over the Rocket kitchen serving Izakaya-style dishes with her signature elegant twist — inviting guests to enjoy the warmth and playfulness of Japanese home-style dining in the heart of Berlin. Kiki teaches authentic and creative Japanese cuisine to both foreigners and Japanese people, and organizes pop-up events across Europe. Her cooking blends tradition with a modern sensibility, highlighting the beauty of seasonal ingredients and the spirit of Japanese hospitality.
