2025 and 2026 are going to be profoundly important years for the rest of our lives.
With full hearts, we’re grateful to share that our baby boy is coming in June. 🤍
This is a joy we hold close, and one we do not take lightly.
Alongside this beautiful news, we also want to take a moment to honor our first baby who was due today.
In early 2025, we decided to begin exploring the idea of growing our family. We prepared ourselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. But that baby had other plans and arrived in our lives far sooner than expected.
As the weeks passed, our excitement grew. We shared the news with close family and friends, began renovating our home, and started preparing a space filled with love and anticipation.
Then came July 3rd, 2025 our 12 week ultrasound.
Instead of joy, we were met with devastation. Our baby had not grown, and there was no longer a heartbeat. The ultrasound technician showed immense kindness in telling us right away, sparing us from waiting in uncertainty, but the moment itself was shattering.
After seeking medical care and guidance, I chose the next steps that felt most comfortable and appropriate for me. Unfortunately, those steps led to further medical complications. On July 5th, 2025, I lost consciousness and had to be rushed to the hospital, where I underwent emergency surgery.
The recovery was long, and it took a very long time for both of us to begin feeling okay again. Grief doesn’t follow a timeline, and healing came in waves.
One in four pregnancies ends in miscarriage or loss.
It’s a number that feels abstract until you become part of it and then it becomes deeply personal.
Miscarriage is far more common than many realize, yet it is often carried in silence. It can leave parents feeling isolated, confused, and heartbroken, even though they are far from alone.
If you have experienced pregnancy loss, know this: your grief is valid, your baby mattered, and you are not alone. We are always open to listening, sharing, or supporting anyone navigating a similar journey. 🤍
We are so excited for baby boy to come in June, he will be loved so deeply by us and help continue our healing.
Here’s a project I poured a lot into this year, and one I’m incredibly proud of. I had the opportunity to Produce, Direct, and Edit a series of videos with Travel Alberta, spotlighting Alberta athletes representing Team Canada. The video below is a “Hero” video, showcasing small aspects of their stories. You’ll find the full length of each athlete’s on Travel Alberta’s Youtube.
We all know the big names in Canadian sport Summer McIntosh, Penny Oleksiak, Andre De Grasse athletes with major sponsorships, huge social media presence, and constant media coverage.
But they aren’t the only ones carrying our flag.
Let me introduce you to three Team Canada athletes who deserve just as much recognition: Zoe Phaneuf, Madison Thurgood, and Ashley Patzer.
Ashley – Rugby
Zoe – Double Mini Trampoline
Madison – Sabre Fencing
These athletes welcomed me into their worlds and trusted me to tell small pieces of their stories. Something I’m extremely grateful for. Huge thank you to Travel Alberta for giving me the opportunity to bring this series to life.
Enjoy.

Excited to share the trailer for “Discovering French 50” - My first directed documentary.
I’ll be sharing the full film through Vimeo early Feb. However you’ll be able to see it on the @french50bakery IG page now.
Brad and Marie gave me the absolute honour of sharing their story, the intimate details of how they came to know each-other, starting their bakery, and where they are today. With practically creative freedom.
I’m very grateful for them, and the crew that sacrificed their time to help bring this to life.
Enjoy!
