Golden moments are coming to life in Livigno. On the tracks and through the cameras. An absolutely epic amount of snow (20+ cm) has covered the competition sites causing delays and picturesque photo moments.
Filming has continued daily for the ‘The Game’ … play each day at 7pm ET in Canada on CBC online. We have started to film features for ‘Corona’s Golden Moments’🥇
Im very proud to say, I have not traded for a single American pin and everyone seems to want to try to get rid of theirs. Australia’s pin are in high demand as well as the Japanese. The Chinese pins are the most beautiful.

A truly picturesque past couple of days here in the alps. I’ve been working with the most amazing team @itsbenzy , @olanguedoc , @therealcabbie & supported by countless others in Toronto.
I’m primarily helping film segments for “The Game” an online trivia game that Canadians can play every day at 7 PM Eastern!
As the games progress I’ll also be helping film features for Corona, Canadian tire and Air Canada (and the odd Radio Canada French story) So if you see Livigno and a small feature as you watch our Canadian athletes, perhaps it came through our team :)
Some notes:
- Espresso costs €2 but I overheard on the bus that this should be only €1… Olympic inflation is here I fear
- To my extreme delight, the local police use Subaru’s
- our hotel is located in the highest municipality in the European union at 2300m , no wonder carrying our equipment has been such a workout
- humidity and subzero temperature at night is testing the limits of my gear but so far so good
- I fear that the aperol spritz are truly living up to the Apres Ski vibes

In the heart of Italy’s northern mountains, the tiny gem of Livigno (pop 6,800) is gearing up to welcome the world.
It will host:
Freestyle Skiing: Ski Cross, Halfpipe, Slopestyle, Big Air, Aerials, Moguls (including Dual Moguls and Mixed Team Aerials)
Snowboarding: All disciplines – Parallel Giant Slalom, Snowboard Cross, Halfpipe, Slopestyle, Big Air
A fresh coat of snow was delivered today which is making this town even more magical!! It’s still in very much preparation mode with a calm, cool presence from the organizing staff.
