HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY TO THE CREATIVE WIZARD AND AXE LEGEND, @rix_guitar_ (1/2 of @rixandboogie ) Rix is one of the kindest and most talented humans I've ever met, and I will forever be grateful for our musical connection. He can walk in a room and become best friends with everyone in it. On the other side, he can hear a guitar solo for 30 seconds and have it memorized for life. The musical talent and intuition he has is simply on another level. We met about 2 years ago and formed this trust that can only be described by the title of our first collab, it was a Funk Decision. @rixandboogie is the duo we started cranking out tunes under and really only played one show together (that sold out 🤯). Since then, the duo has unintentionally been on the back burner with the Boogie Bunch Bluebird show and gearing up for @cervantesmasterpiece on 12/20! I'm more than stoked to feature a couple Rix & Boogie songs on the upcoming LP! Which also features Rix's sweet licks on almost every song simply because he his so freaking good on the 🎸!
