NPC Mile High Showdown 2025 “It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable” — Socrates This past year, I found myself looking back at photos from when I was 21. I had transformed my body with calisthenics and a makeshift gym my dad and I built in our backyard after I got obsessed with YouTube videos of athletes doing muscle-ups, planches, front levers, next level feats of strength. I wanted to move like that. So I trained Fast forward a decade. I’m almost 31. I saw those same photos and thought “I’ll probably never be in better shape than that” But then I caught myself. Why not now? Why couldn’t I become the strongest, fittest version of myself now? That’s when I committed, not just to fitness, but to bodybuilding. The structure. The discipline. The process I reached out to @saintxhood , who connected me with @changnationofficial . Josh reworked my training and nutrition and guided me through five months of prep for the @npccolorado Mile High Showdown. He adjusted for old injuries and mobility issues while still pushing me toward progress We started with a clean bulk, 194 to 210 pounds in four months. Eating in a surplus, chasing PRs, and staying dialed in every day @j_cubd helped me with my first posing attempts (awkward and humbling). Later, I went to an @ocbcolorado posing clinic and met @ryanwhitepro . Game changer. I started posing with him at @enlightened_athletics , then moved to 1on1 sessions. That’s when it started to click Last Saturday, I stepped on stage after 5 months of intense work, staying present and soaking in every moment, even the lows I placed 4th in Men’s Physique Novice, and 3rd in True Novice. For my first show, I’m proud primarily with my follow through, the body I presented, and the starting point I’ve created for a to-be discovered physique in the future I’m taking time now to live untracked and enjoy the win, but I’ll be back to attack the next step in the journey Much love to everyone who supported me in this endeavor.
