Chando Acoustic is out now everywhere!!
The first of its kind, Chando Acoustic, is a collection of piano songs written by yours truly with added drums, standup double bass and violin. While this EP, like most Chando records, is still primarily driven by the keys, this is a unique set of tunes has much different feel to them. They're super raw and only include the instruments you hear and nothing else. No extra post processing or crazy effects, just real, live performances by the talented musicians featured on this album. This record, a collection of truly unique tunes, is a step in another direction as it's definitely #NotElectronicMusic and was super fun to bring to life with the help of my extremely talented friends @nateetter , @lowendgravity & @danielcolbertviolin . And it wouldn't be possible with out the engineering mastermind that is @firthlogan .

Last but certainly not least, we have the final musician featured on the Chando Acoustic album, @danielcolbertviolin .
I met Danny when he joined the Boogie Lights Boogie Bunch for our headlining show at Cervantes last December, and I knew right away that he was the right guy for this project. While these songs sounded great with just piano, drums and bass, there was a little something missing, and that something was the violin. I sent him these tracks to listen to but didn’t offer any real guidance on what I was looking for. This was intentional as I always feel it’s best for artists to express themselves as they are without the distraction of too much direction. We setup a single recording session in my studio, recorded a few takes and WOW, these songs really came to life. Once the violin parts were laid down, I truly felt like we had a finished collection of unique songs.
Adding Danny’s violin to this album was truly the cherry on top and these songs wouldn’t be the same without him.
