SB254 was reintroduced this year Which opponents overturned, We prevailed and in April 2026, Kansas Governor vetoed Senate Bill 254, which aimed to end in-state tuition for undocumented students who graduated from Kansas high schools. The bill would have reversed a 22-year-old state law permitting the lower tuition rate. The veto preserves the current policy, which allows qualifying undocumented students to pay in-state rates. @ewiseepeople @rise4ej
