People’s Collective for Environmental Justice (Achievement in Environmental Justice) (PC4EJ) is a community-centered nonprofit organization that advances environmental justice across California’s Inland Empire. Founded in 2020 by organizers and others during the COVID-19 pandemic, PC4EJ was created to confront systemic pollution, environmental racism, and the disproportionate health burdens facing Black, Latino, Indigenous, and immigrant communities, especially those living near freight corridors, warehouses, and industrial hubs in cities like San Bernardino, Bloomington, and Colton. Through grassroots organizing, community education, policy analysis, research, and civic engagement, PC4EJ equips frontline residents with the tools to understand environmental harms and lead meaningful change. Rooted in EJ principles, the collective works toward clean air, safe neighborhoods, and a just transition to healthier, more resilient communities across the Inland Empire and beyond. #LatinoCaucus #LatinoSpiritAwards #LatinoLeaders
This week a lil something happen!!! 🎉👏🏽 The Inland Empire showed up with heart.
Our IE community was honored with the Latino Caucus Spirit Award on behalf of the People’s Collective for Environmental Justice, we are so grateful to represent our region and share this recognition with all of you.
This award belongs to every resident who organizes, speaks up, and refuses to accept pollution as our destiny. Let’s continue fighting for a future where every family can breathe clean air and live in a healthy, thriving community.
Adelante, IE. Our power is collective. #latinospiritawards #lostigresdelnorte #ie #cleanair4all #nopollution

🗣️🪧 Today, May 1st, about 1,000 community members marched in solidarity at the 2026 Inland Empire May Day rally in downtown San Bernardino.
The march ended at the San Bernardino Immigration Field Office and blocked the intersection at E Street and Rialto Avenue in downtown.
People march on May Day to protest for labor rights, economic justice, and fair wages, acting as a global day of demonstration for workers. In the U.S., protests target economic inequality, immigration issues, and corporate power, advocating for workers over billionaires.
🗣️🪧 A May Day Rally kicked off in downtown San Bernardino at 1:30 PM on May 1st at Feldheym Central Library. About 1K+ community members from labor, immigrant, and environmental rights groups kicked off the rally by chanting “Sì se puede” and “No one is illegal on stolen land.”
The march made stops at city hall and across downtown. It ends at 4 PM.
May Day honors the history of labor movements—from the 1886 fight for the 8-hour workday to today’s rallies for economic justice and worker rights worldwide.
