I had as much fun working on this movie as you will have watching it. It’s a wild ride fr. Big shoutout to editor Ron Dulin for bringing me on to assistant edit. This was my first narrrative feature and he patiently and graciously taught me so much. Working on a horror movie was a long time goal and for it to be this star studded and this entertaining, I have @alexscharfman to thank for his vision! Shoutout @pinarc for being my work wife and @northpointpost for providing the edit space. And ofc hats off to Justin Scutieri and @hannahalextom for wrangling all of our post needs. I love makin movies :}
@unionthefilm Sundance premiere party. Took every ounce of my strength to leave this party but I had to get to the airport. Excellent way to end an excellent weekend 🤝
Barely took any photos at Sundance but these are a few of my fave moments. Endless gratitude to the entire Union team and participants. The whole weekend felt like a dream! So proud, so happy.
As a worker in the film industry, I’m joining #FilmWorkersForPalestine 🍉 We demand a ceasefire, reject the unjust backlash people have faced for being pro-Palestine, and call for filmmakers to use their platforms to highlight the Palestinian struggle.
War is a policy choice, war is a money-making scheme and the victims of it are real, living breathing human beings. I feel so helpless as an individual who is subject to a government that has done everything to fund and foment this tragedy. But I believe in the power of film making to shift collective consciousness. I have felt that power myself on many occasions. I’m proud to be in solidarity with other filmmakers who are working toward a better future where peace and equity are the norm and no one is denied the right to a life’s necessities of dignity, love, safety, and sustenance.
