Hey Babe! Is MarJo's cutest film, and this one deserves the hype.
This film has a cute and interesting plot that has to do with fortune-telling and astrology with an enemies-to-lovers trope. OA meets OA in this film, and I feel like this is MarJo at their cutest yet because it was full of life, humor, and love. Very lovable characters and kilig moments that will make the audience smile.
Marvin Agustin was adorable as Nelson. He was one of his most enjoyable characters, and seeing him dance was one of my favorite moments from his character. Jolina Magdangal as Abigail was relatable because there's something in us that makes us believe in astrology, pamahiin, and others. Her character was cute and hilarious. MarJo's chemistry was strong and cute here because you'll feel the kilig, especially in the third act of the film, making it one of the most iconic moments from the tandem.
Director Joyce Bernal made this film a lot of fun, and with MarJo's lovely chemistry, it makes it even more fun. Hey Babe! Is one of the best rom-com films from the 90s.

Bihira lang ako magpost ng ganito. Pagbigyan. Kung babasahin mo, salamat. Kung hindi, bili ka nalang nitong libro. Haha! Tapos chikahin mo ako kapag natapos mo!
Katatapos ko lang basahin ang Lahat ng B, karugtong ng unang nobela na Para kay B. Ang Para kay B ang unang libro na nabasa kong naisulat ni Ricky Lee at mula noon ay namangha na ako sa kanyang kwento. College ako noon ng iregalo sa akin ang libro niyang Para kay B, kaya mayroon akong kopya ng unang book cover nito. Ibang klase ang Para kay B. Kapansin-pansin ang pagiging malikhain at husay sa pagkakasulat nito. Napasabi pa akong, "Grabi! Mantakin mo yon?!" Naisip 'to ng manunulat? Di pangkaraniwang plot. May lalim, may puso.
Mas lalo akong namangha sa Lahat ng B. Naranasan ko lahat ng emosyon sa iisang libro. Una ay malumanay, payapang pakiramdam, tapos bigla nalang mararamdaman ang shift ng emotion to anger, pain, sadness, at ang biglang pagtawa ko nalang sa isang maikling pangungusap. Tatlong kabanata palang ang natatapos ko noon at halos reaksyon ko ay โWhat?! Bakit ganon?! *Toot* *Toot *Toot*โ ๐
Simula highschool mas nakahiligan ko ang mga nobelang pinoy. Hiram ako ng hiram ng libro ni Bob Ong sa library namin. Kadalasan natatapos ko ang isang maikling nobela sa isang upuan. Ganon ako kasabik malaman ang kahihinatnan ng kwento.
Pero iba ito. Iba talaga! Lalo pa akong na-excite sa ibang mga librong nabili ko sa book fair at napapirma kay Sir Ricky. May tatlo pa akong nag-aabang na mapapirma sa kanya!
Grabi ang galing ni Sir Ricky sa pagsusulat. Pagkatapos kong basahin ang unang tatlong kabanata, tumigil ako para namnamin ang bawat kwento bago ko ipagpatuloy ang iba. Natapos ko palang ito makalipas ang isang linggo rin. Fiction ito diba? Pero salamin ng totoong buhay. Mararamdaman mo ang bawat tauhan. Bawat linya ay gumuguhit at nanunuldok.
May mga linyang tumatak sa akin at aking pinagninilayan pa rin.
