There’s a lot of noise out there right now — so here’s something different. A few things that actually got better this month, and that we’ve been proud to support alongside some incredible people and organisations 🌍
This month, major retailers like
@hollandandbarrett , Time Health and
@dm_deutschland have dropped krill products — which marks another significant victory in
@seashepherd campaign.
In Scotland, a massive step forward for wildlife. Thanks to the work of
@writerhannahbt and the
@rspb , Swift Bricks are now being built into all new homes by law — creating vital nesting spaces for swifts, house martins and more.
We’re also seeing real progress at a community level.
@saveourgrassroots have awarded their first grants, to
@officialonrfc , to bring nature-based solutions back into sports spaces — tackling waterlogging while restoring real grass pitches. Better for health, better for biodiversity, and better for the communities that use them.
The movement against factory farming is growing fast too. The Frankenchickens campaign by
@humaneleagueuk has now reached over 6 million views, with creators like
@paulgoodenough ,
@knoxstudy ,
@safely_endangered and
@mrs.frollein helping push it into the mainstream. (And yes… you might spot a familiar face in there 👀)
And finally, some of the biggest voices across Britain are calling out the reality of the oil crisis — highlighting that a single crisis costs the UK more than going net zero. We partnered with these creators to spread our message onto their platform, resulting into being seen in the MILLIONS!
@mrcodydahler @ecomaeve @theexplodingheads @jimmythegiantuk @knoxstudy @sambentley @novo_org @sonnygreenuk
We’re proud that Rewriting Earth has been able to play a part in supporting these stories, these campaigns, and the people behind them — and this is just the beginning.
More next month 🌱
