As 2025 draws to a close, we’ve been taking a moment to reflect on what has been an exciting year for ReStage 🖤🩷❤️
Since coming together with the
@mayorofldn @nationaltheatre @aceagrams and
@workwildltd on our shared mission to radically reduce the environmental impact of the film and theatre industries, we’ve been hard at work researching and piloting ways to turn that goal into reality 🎬🎭♻️
The goal? A practical but ambitious one: every time a theatre show finishes its run or a film production wraps, we want to prevent sets from ending up in landfill. Instead, they can go on to have a new life — by being ‘restaged’ ✅
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported and championed us so far. Whether you’ve reached out to learn more or collaborated with us directly, you’re helping move the stage and screen sectors closer to a circular economy 🙏
Looking back, one of our standout moments this year has to be #CircularEconomyWeek, hosted by
@relondon_uk @relondon_circularchamps 🎉
During the week-long programme of events and activities, we met and exchanged ideas with so many inspirational zero-waste innovators, all committed to building a low-carbon, waste-busting economy for London.
ReStage also took centre stage as we premiered our new short film — if you haven’t seen it yet, check out our pinned post 👀
Howard Dawber OBE, London Deputy Mayor for Business and Growth, was also in attendance, awarding
@relondon_uk @relondon_circularchamps ‘s latest round of High Streets Beyond Waste grant winners👏🏆
The High Streets Beyond Waste programme supports high street businesses to trial reuse, repair, renting, sharing and recycling business models — helping them reduce waste, cut costs, create revenue and strengthen customer relationships 🤝
The week rounded off with a trip to parliament with
@metecoban92 and
@relondon_uk @relondon_circularchamps no less! More on this in the next post 👀
