Big moves from one of our own
We are so excited to see @bartonmade , a graduate of our Artist Accelerator programme, featured in The Art of Possibility, a first-of-its-kind exhibition celebrating 150 years of the FA Cup.
Sally was part of our platform designed to champion emerging talent, and seeing her sculptural work alongside global artists in this massive showcase is exactly why we do what we do. Her piece dives into the "magic of the cup," exploring the community and culture that makes the game so iconic.
Go show Sally some love and experience the intersection of football and fine art. We couldn’t be prouder!
TAT (The Art Therapy Co-op) is a collective of Art Psychotherapists that are working towards anti exploitative practices within the mental health field and beyond.
We are very excited to be offering this session as part of the Creativity and Wellbeing Week.
Not A Workshop is a group space for creatively exploring and responding to our experiences of supporting others within unsupportive systems. We welcome attendees from backgrounds including Social Care, Education, Third Sector and the NHS; we have previously had Care Workers, Support Workers, TA’s, Teachers, Therapists, Social Workers, Head Teachers and more. You do not need to be an artist to join.
A bit about art making at Not a Workshop: Art making can support the exploration and expression of that which might have no words or be difficult to put into words. Whilst Not a Workshop will not be a therapy group session, the art making will hopefully similarly support non-verbal expression, which can be shared with others in the group. As the name suggests, this is NOT a workshop and no teaching will be imparted. Members of The Art Therapy Co-op will be present to facilitate self-directed making. Some art materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring along anything you would like to use or contribute to the group.

We’ve officially wrapped up our latest pottery course, and we couldn't be prouder of this group. Over the last two months, 14 talented attendees have transformed clay into beautiful mugs, plates, and pots. Seeing everyone’s progress has been a total joy.
As one of our students put it:
"I enjoyed being able to learn and try something new and learn a new skill."
A massive thank you to our incredible tutors, Margot, Mandy, and Sara, for sharing their expertise, patience, and passion with every student. This course wouldn't have been the same without your guidance!
To our graduates: We hope you enjoy using your new handmade pieces at home. Keep creating!
Missed out on this round? We have new courses starting up very soon! Whether you're a total beginner or looking to level up your skills, we’d love to have you in the studio.

Rosetta Arts is a 33 year old community arts Charity in Newham. We are incredibly proud to be one of only 30 London organisations to receive the Mayor of London’s "Loved & Wanted" funding. This initiative is all about ensuring people from all cultures and religions feel welcomed, connected, and seen through the power of art.
To deliver on this mission, we need some upgrades to our pottery studio and exhibition space. We are fundraising for two vital additions:
New Pottery Wheels: Our current wheels are old and at capacity. Three new wheels will mean our pottery community can continue to grow, and more people can access the therapeutic power of clay.
Modular Exhibition Walls: We want to transform our Great Hall into a professional gallery space. These moveable display boards will allow us to showcase the incredible work of our community, bringing people together to celebrate Newham’s diverse creative talent.
By supporting this fund, you aren't just buying machinery or boards, you are directly enabling more people in our community to learn a new skill, improve their wellbeing and find their creativity.
More pottery wheels mean more residents can access the proven mental health benefits of working with clay - reducing isolation and building new skills.
Our exhibition walls break down barriers and provide access. They ensure local talent (often hidden or overlooked) is given a platform to be seen. It also means that every visitor to our building can view and experience art that reflects their own community and culture.
Despite the vital services we offer to our communities, it remains a very challenging climate for small charities like ours. We truly appreciate any support you can give to help us reach this goal.

We’ve had an incredible 10 weeks watching up to 20 talented children join us every weekend to explore, imagine, and create.
Don't just take our word for it here is what our Art Stars parents had to say:
💬 "My child has learned different techniques and art forms. They have definitely developed their art skills!"
A huge thank you to Artist @rumbie.n and the wonderful families who made this cohort so special. We’ve loved being a space where Newham’s youngest creatives can build confidence and a lifelong love for art.
Stay tuned for news on our next term! 🚀
