@ejae_k , @audreynuna and @rei.ami are undoubtedly in a unique situation — being individual artists brought together to sing as a fictional girl group. But how they've evolved since 'KPop Demon Hunters' is striking: "We are changed women," Audrey says.
She continues: "We’ve each been on our own journey in the music industry for so long, and you eat s–t sometimes, you’re winning sometimes — you’re up and down. And I think that this was such a moment of clarity for all three of us of, like, yes: Music has the power to bring joy to the world."

Thanks to "Golden," fictional girl group HUNTR/X achieved commercial success and critical acclaim — which don't always go hand in hand.
"It's a multigenerational flex," says @rei.ami , one of the vocalists behind the 'KPop Demon Hunters' trio. "'Golden' was the first K-pop song to win [a Grammy] — that’s history. They’re going to be studying 'Golden' for ages."

@ejae_k , @audreynuna and @rei.ami were never even in the same place prior to the June 2025 release of ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ — yet since, they’ve found very real accolades and long-awaited recognition through the fictional girl group. 🏆
In their Billboard cover story, they sit down together to discuss how “Golden” changed the culture at large, the women artists they most admire and what’s next for the singing voices of HUNTR/X.
