DECOLONISING OUR LOVE II: MEMENTOS OF LOVE continues! ♡♡
We wanted to keep exploring memory as both a language and a practice of love within diasporic experiences, this time through moving images and sound.
So we are excited to share @salmendermagazine second programme at @referencepoint180 . An intimate evening of screening and performance featuring films by Nicolas Babin @nicolaslouisbabin , Jazmin Garcia @buffalotearz Olukemi Lijadu @kemkemlij , and a live musical performance by @wordsofazia .
The night will also include a curated selection of books and magazines, alongside works previously showcased in our exhibition by Marianne Costade @ooomarianne , Salma Bensalim @archivesbysaluma , Bechir Gueled @ogbech_ , Théo Gaye @theo.gaye , Amanda Thedrica @amandathedrica , and Clara Zo’o @yoursalamandara .
