Sonic Hinterlands_ Recordat will be in a performance at the @museodellecivilta in Rome on December 14, with_ @ibrahimowais & @baselnaouri Sonic Hinterlands is__ an interwoven sonic narrative emerges from the uncharted desert lands across a vast ocean, highlighting the moment of tension between the physical and psychological perception of spacetime within the turmoils of crossings. Sonic Hinterlands is a journey of movement, exploration, and hope, but also rejection, confrontation and death. Using fragments and echos of the sonic experience that surrounds human attempts of crossing the desert, Recordat will construct a non-disciplined sonic hinterland as a site for a critical reflection on the notion of crossings as means to claim identity and belonging. This performance is part of Recordat’s performative series that explore the world of spatial sonic narratives. This event is curated by @nero_editions in collaboration with @reyetto_tapes as part of the ISPRA collection opening: Animals, Plants, Rocks and Minerals.
