Whoever said don’t meet or dress your heroes was wrong. I’ve had the fortune of styling Duran Duran a couple of times now, and honestly… I still have those moments where I quietly think: “I’m styling Duran Duran.” Fashion can become very normal when it’s your job. Deadlines, fittings, couriers, logistics, garment rails everywhere. But every now and then, a moment cuts through all of that and reminds you why you fell in love with this industry in the first place. This was one of those moments. Those questions every stylist asks themselves before a shoot… Do I have enough? Will everything fit? Will the client be happy? Where is the courier? Why is the lift not working today? And the one that really matters…Will the taxi driver take one look at all the luggage & just sigh? It’s never just about the clothes. It’s timings, rails, bags, backups… You prep. You double prep. You bring options. And then you still lie awake the night before thinking, “Have I forgotten something?” (You probably haven’t. But also… maybe.) So I’m curious, what’s the one thing that always stresses you before a shoot? #fashionlifestyle #fashionstylist #creativejourney

Today I was dreaming of spring. I wanted to fill my little balcony full of flowers but it’s just drizzle and grey skies. I used to live just moments away from Columbia flower market. I read a quote today by Lauren Hutton - “somewhere along the way we start believing the mirror is telling us who we are” We need to give ourselves permission to change — and of course we change. The question is this, if your reflection changes faster than your identity what are you anchoring yourself to? Fashion trains us to read images but images aren’t really the truth. There are reflection- lighting, angles retouching, a version, an interpretation, an inspiration not a fact. So instead of asking only, how do I look? I think we need to ask “what matters to me now?” Because you’re clear on your values your appearance stops like something to control and starts feeling more like something to inhabit. I’ve worked in the industry for a long time and here’s what I know. When you understand who you are on the inside, you become more generous with yourself on the outside.💫 #fashionpsychology #fashionstylist #agelessfashion

ZOOT at LONDON FASHION WEEK VIN + OMI AW26 With Fashion Editor Rebekah Roy There were over 500 people at the vinandomi show, yet it somehow felt both like a music concert (there was a live DJ outside the Art Hotel) and something quietly intimate at the same time. Strangers were talking to one another, properly talking — that rare, deep-rooted connection you don’t often feel in fashion spaces. It was high fashion, sustainability, and kindness all in the same room. Friends of the designers — including restaurateur Dame Prue Leith, journalist Dylan Jones, and designer and stylist Jo Wood — walked the catwalk. There were cheers, laughter, and birthday wishes for Dame Prue, celebrating her 85th year around the sun. It felt joyful, unforced, human. The designers’ ongoing collaboration with King Charles’ Sandringham Estate continues to push textile innovation forward — garments crafted from waste clippings of holly, nettles, butterbur, wood shavings, recycled aluminium, and hotel linens. This season included the world’s first textile made from holly, alongside fabrics created from discarded cans and nettles. Experimental, yes — but also quietly radical. The show itself felt like a menagerie: printed birds and flowers, green and blue sequins, moments of whimsy alongside rock ’n’ roll energy. Then came simple white garments, almost like hospital gowns — stark, emotional, and impossible to ignore. The collection felt deeply personal. Omi shared that he’d recently had a heart attack, which led to a partnership with the British Heart Foundation. Years ago, I remember asking Omi where you could buy one of their pieces. He told me they weren’t for sale — they were about exploring textiles. This collaboration marked the first time their work was available to purchase, closing the gap between fashion, community, and purpose. It was rebelliously beautiful — and proof that fashion can still mean something. Backstage HECTOR MACLEAN AW26
With @Jo_Sugar

@hectormacleanlondon @londonfashionweek

Hector Maclean’s autumn/winter 2026 collection, ‘Escape’ took place in London’s campest notorious nightclub Heaven. This is the story of Hector’s grandmother, Leokadia Osko’s whose life was shaped by war, loss, and a fierce, quiet resilience. Displaced during the Second World War, in a refugee camp — a place defined by uncertainty — she met Donald, Maclean’s Scottish grandfather, a soldier who returned day after day to her small fruit stall. What began as a simple exchange of coins and conversation slowly unfolded into something deeper: a love story born in hardship, sustained by hope, and rooted in the most extraordinary of circumstances. “War is part of my history,” says Mclean — a legacy that continues to shape his design language, influencing not only what he creates, but why he creates it. The influence of Mclean’s time working with Vivienne Westwood was unmistakable — woven through sweeping gowns and tailored fabrics, plus intricate lace and crochet, and garments deliberately distressed with attitude and intent. Models carried glass fruit an ode to Oska. Maclean reminds us that fashion — the clothes we wear — carries history and deep personal meaning, and that both heritage and sustainability sit at the very heart of his work.

ZOOT at LONDON FASHION WEEK PATRICK MCDOWELL AW26 With Fashion Editor Rebekah Roy@patrick__mcdowell PR @purplepr Cover photo @banksybanksybanks Patrick McDowell Fall 2026 show promises beauty, and sustainability as always and we anticipate clothes that will genuinely flatter — and quietly remind you that strength and femininity exist together. A quiet tribute to George Platt Lynes, whose lens on couture and the male form informed a collection that was stripped-back, elegant, and commercially assured. Dancer Jonathan Luke Baker became a living sculpture on a rock surround by moss with little white flowers starting to bloom — a moving echo of Lynes’ iconic 1930s imagery. Exquisite looks in black and white and jewel purple. The draping, and sharp tailoring that nipped in the waist, hints of nostalgia, styled with soft waves and elegant hats by Philip Tracy. A bejewelled evening gown, a dreamy jumpsuit, and a bride to close the show. A statement collection of the understated.
