I love climbing with people who truly inspire me—and @rdclimber Ronnie Dickson is one of them. Years ago, I had the privilege of coaching Ronnie during his run as a champion para climber. Today, he’s building success in a whole new arena as the owner of his own prosthetics clinic—while still climbing at a high level outdoors, with his sights set on 5.14. I’m grateful to call Ronnie a friend… and proud to have him on the @physivantage Pro Team. 💪🏼 Here’s a quick clip of Ronnie smoothly dispatching Babyface (5.12b) at the Red River Gorge. #climbinglife #physivantage #sportclimbing #paraclimbers #paraclimbing

Is @cailsoria scared of a bluegrass boogie with me? Or did I just step on her 5 toes? Is there a mystery blond moving in on @leonardtobias7 girl? Or just an accidental stray hand in the wrong place at the wrong time 😂. and should one legged Rachel really be piggybacking one legged @maryetank or did this photo end in a tipsy disaster a second later…? I dunno what’s happening half these photos …? Who knows…. But swipe for the ACF 2025 dates! Lock em in your diary… and a word from the now wised me to all virgin acf’ers…. Don’t over subscribe yourself to clinics. It’s a hectic weekend. You will need a rest! Lolz. Plus … other people don’t want to miss out when you (aka me… ooops) don’t show up! #sorry Also - dude… Americans know how to dress up. I also learned that! So go all in on your outfit. Okay. That is all. ❤️🌻 📸:/ a collection from the shared ACF drive. Thank you to everyone that captured these ..: because I turned my phone off for an entire week and it was jolly bliss!

PhysiVāntage pro, Ronnie Dickson, is a three-time National Paraclimbing Champion, owner of a high-end prosthetics clinic in Chattanooga, and he’s the driving force behind the annual Adaptive Climber’s Festival. He also trains hard and crushes outdoors…bouldering up to V10 and sport climbing 5.13b/c. So as you can see, the dude is special! @rdclimber Yesterday he sent one of the Red’s best 5.13as, Prometheus Unbound ✅ (video is of a working go a couple days earlier). PhysiVāntage is proud of our diverse climbing team filled with inspiring crushers like Ronnie! We also have a vibrant Ambassador Team…and we welcome all adaptive athletes to join it! “A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.” ~ Gandalf the Grey We’re missing an @rdclimber in this photo…. but he has been here day in and day out since we arrived, and holy moly is he a wizard if ever I met one. Years and years of experience and hard work and kindness and perseverance poured into each and every patient he sees, alongside an incredible team. I walked out the door last night on a new leg that fits like a dream! Which if you know anything about my journey as an amputee, you’ll know is a bit of magic. Also up and moving on a new climbing and ocean leg. No more words. Just a heart felt thankyou, and now we’re going off grid for 8 nights. Just what I need. Climbing. Crags. Friends. Cold mornings. Gumboot coffee. And a tube of @skinnies_co . Mental health reset here I come. Bye !

Major news! The Adaptive Climbers Festival is a finalist for the American Alpine Club’s Community Change Maker Award! Vote at the link in bio. The ACF is going up against some very worthy competitors: Tommy Caldwell and Marcus Garcia. ACFers will be in Los Angeles on April 27 to attend the American Alpine Club’s Annual Benefit Gala and learn who the winner is. This is where you come in! Voting for this award ends on April 11, and we are calling for all hands, stumps, whatever, on deck to help us make this a reality. Cast a vote! Tell Grandma! Tell your cousins twice removed! Let’s. Make. This. Happen. (You will be asked to vote for the Climb of the Year Award, then you’ll have access to the Change Maker Award.) Thank you so much to everyone who voted in the first round! You helped get us here!

Hueco! One of my favorite places because having one leg doesn’t matter, only pulling down hard!

Holding on while this year just continues to fly by. A great shot by @sadpandaclimbing from our trip in Hueco capturing the faces of fear from the spotters @chaospictures @aaclimber I got to be Superman for a brief moment of time and thankful that I didn’t have a close encounter with the desert plant life while flying over their heads. Thanks to @physivantage and @evolv_worldwide for continuing to be stoked on my one legged antics. #climbing #bouldering #amputee #paraclimbing #adaptive #texas #huecotanks

My biggest climbing battle, on the best climb, at my favorite crag. Unshackled the Movie (13c) Eleven sessions over three months, full obsession, finally gave way to the send in late March. This one broke down into a five bolt 12b into three V6 boulders separated by poor rests into an exit V3/4 that’s a heartbreaker. Thankfully I never took that whip. This climb also forced me to go deep into my bag of tricks with my prosthesis including some cheeky toe hooks, hard flagging, and foot switches. @david_climbs_sometimes capturing some of the faces of pain, try hard, and small victories somewhere around session four or five. Thanks to @griffinb6683 and @alexanderstathis for being ride or die partners. @evolv_worldwide @physivantage @bluewaterropes #climbing #paraclimbing #adaptiveathlete #adaptive #amputee #rockclimbing

Started at @cruxconditioning one year ago and at thirty three I’m feeling stronger than I ever have. Really glad to link up with such a motivating crew that comes up with such simple, creative, functional workouts. They have given me a strength platform to have more fun with my climbing than I ever have. I’ve been able to get my one rep max pull up to 93lbs and hang on a 15mm edge with 80lbs. I was strong before, but didn’t have the consistency or ever get the intensities right without their direction to make such a steady progression. Thanks @paulcorsaro and @dbcash and last but not least my longtime friend @eric_horst for helping give me the tools and knowledge to fully round out any plan. #climbing #training
