April Foolery gathers over one hundred artists into a circus of absurdity, satire, and unruly imagination. It embracese the aesthetics of the foolish: exaggerated forms, mischievous interventions, and a carnival of color and confusion. Yet beneath the laughter, something sharper lingers.
In this exhibition, humor becomes a strategy—not an escape. The works on view exploit silliness as a form of mirror, using irony and exaggeration to expose contradictions embedded in contemporary life.
What once might have been dismissed as parody now often feels indistinguishable from reality.
LOOK UP began from a simple but powerful reminder: in moments of uncertainty, division, and overwhelm, sometimes the most important thing we can do is LOOK UP.
What started as a question has now grown into a global collective of artists, visionaries, cultural leaders, and changemakers coming together to ask one universal question:
What does LOOK UP mean to you?
Tomorrow, LOOK UP TIMES SQUARE officially launches in Venice following the official press preview and conference at Marinaressa Gardens as part of the European Cultural Centre and the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia. @ecc_italy You will find us on the second floor off the elevator or stairs to the right.- keep walking till you find the window that lets you LOOK UP!
With more than 60 participating voices from around the world, LOOK UP TO VENICE is a living reminder of the power of art, technology, storytelling, and human connection to bring people together across cultures and borders.
In a world constantly asking people to look down, this project is an invitation to reconnect — with humanity, with creativity, with awareness, and with each other.
From Times Square to Venice… we LOOK UP together.

When everything begins to feel like a prank, what distinguishes the trick from the truth? And when the world itself seems to perform like a caricature, what role remains for the artist?

To this day I cannot figure out where the ‘figure’ in the orange outfit appeared from 🍊 Without fail appearing center-front or in proximity of - in every last image 📸 Most certainly not included in the group of Airbnb execs @airbnb who flew out from San Francisco for a private viewing and walk-through of the exhibition ✈️ None of whom knew who she was…or where she came from 🕵️♀️ A mystery to this day 🍿
