I’ve been saying a lot lately that I feel like Spud Webb playing in the NBA… We are a small, independently owned company at @jane_studios , but we get to compete with a lot of the big boys. So it’s an honor whenever I get asked to judge for @theaicp . I love what I get to do with the people I get to create stuff with in a community as supportive as the advertising industry. That being said, looking forward to judging the best animation work that’s come out in the last year. Submissions are due in a week! Let’s go!!!

@firecracker10k 50mi Bike Ride 2026 in the books with the crew!!! It was a hot day, but HUGE difference in strength and conditioning compared to last years ride. Shout out to @ridepriority for my @ostroynyc shirt…I took pics with 3 random people and modeled for another just because they all liked the shirt! 🙌🏾

Ok…here’s my 2025 recap! Worked a bunch, cycled a bunch, ate a bunch, traveled a bunch, tried a bunch, loved a bunch, cared a bunch, and a bunch more. Oh and I fell a bunch…then got up a bunch. Still didn’t drink.

This kid turned 10 today! I’m so lucky to have been living next door for the last 7 years to see him grow into the “pre-teen” he is today. (He told me he’s a pre-teen). Kou…though I don’t always love your choice of music, I do love that you like to go on car rides and hikes with me…I love that I’ve gotten you to like Daft Punk and Rufus du Sol. Keep growing kid…thanks for asking for a sunrise hike to start your double digits. ❤️

Thanks for the coffee tasting @ctrlzcoffee !!! @zandbox was nice enough to host us in his coffee shop in Chicago. It was tons of fun learning his background and how the brand rose from out of the pandemic that I ended up buying a big 5lb bag to share with my friends and neighbors back in LA. 2 YEARS ALCOHOL FREE! At the end of an amazing European trip in the summer of 2023, I had my last alcoholic beer with friends in an Amsterdam bar after a day on the boat navigating the beautiful canals. Upon my arrival back home in LA, I decided to take a break from alcohol and detox for a month. One month turned into three months, then six months and I figured I’d try my hand at going a year. I’m now just getting back from another European holiday, but this time no need to detox because I’m celebrating 2 years of being alcohol free! (These photos here are from a hike on the longest gorge in Europe, the Samaria Gorge in Crete, Greece. 11 miles of hiking and you descend nearly 4000ft all the way down to the ocean. It was not easy and even a week after, I am still sore!) Ok back to what this post was about…I started this non-alcohol journey for many reasons…many associated to my own drunken embarrassments of the past and even health situations, but the main reason was to challenge myself and see if I could be disciplined enough to follow through. It was another one of those, “if I can do it, I can do anything” challenges. “So what now?” People have asked recently…I think in hopes I would drink in celebration. No it doesn’t mean I’m hopping off the wagon and grabbing the nearest OG Four Loko, but my relationship with alcohol is different and my mind and body is better without it in my life. I’ve become much more of a morning person and with my RA, I’m sure it helps stabilize my body making me healthier than I would be if I were consuming it. If you’re getting this far, thanks for sticking it through…thanks to all the people who support me. Without many of you I’m not able to do this. I hope to keep at this for a while longer! ❤️

Fun to get a ride in through the city. Definitely not as bike friendly when I used to live here. Still tons of tourist obstacles, but maybe a tiny bit safer? Still love this city…wouldn’t move back though. 😉
